Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of QuizaBee (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

QuizaBee turns material you provide (notes, documents, images, text) into study tools such as quizzes, flashcards, lessons, summaries, mock exams, written-answer grading, and live/co-study rooms, using AI.

Accounts & eligibility

• You can use some features as a guest; others require an account.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to it secure.
• If you are below the age of digital consent in your country, use the Service only with a parent, guardian, or school's involvement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to use, or that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.
• Abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its AI (including automated or excessive requests, or circumventing limits).
• Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or misuse the Service.
• Use the Service to violate academic integrity rules where they apply to you.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access for violations.

Your content

You keep ownership of the material you submit. You grant QuizaBee a limited license to process and store that content solely to provide the Service to you (including sending it to AI providers to generate results). You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

AI output & accuracy

AI-generated content can be incomplete or incorrect. The Service is a study aid, not professional, legal, medical, or academic advice, and is not a guarantee of exam results. Always verify important information. You are responsible for how you use generated content.

Subscriptions & payments

• We offer Free, Plus, and Pro plans. Prices are shown in the app and may change.
• Payments are processed by Paystack. A paid plan grants access for the stated period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Deleting your account forfeits any remaining paid time.

Sharing features

If you share a study set or host a room, you are responsible for the content you share and for who you invite. Shared content may be viewable by anyone with the link.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuizaBee will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim (or ₦0 if you use a free plan).

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
